EU Compliance & Registration
All vehicle prices are supplied on an ex-import basis.
This means:
-
Vehicles are sold before EU certification, registration and local taxes
-
EU certification and registration are handled by the importing dealer in the destination country
-
Requirements vary depending on country and local regulations
Roch Agency supports the process through:
-
Export documentation and factory verification
-
Pre-import inspection and compliance preparation
-
EU homologation coordination (where applicable)
-
EU registration assistance via local partners, depending on country and setup
Final certification, registration, taxes and duties are calculated individually based on the destination market.

Why Dealers Work With Roch Agency
-
Reduced sourcing risk compared to direct China contact
-
One EU-based partner handling communication and coordination
-
Transparent pricing and clear responsibility
-
Flexible volumes — suitable for small and mid-sized dealers
-
Optional second-supply solution for existing importers
Most dealers do not need “China contacts” — they need certainty, structure and accountability.

Vehicle Import Process – China to EU
1. Purchase contract and initial payment
Upon acceptance of a vehicle order, a purchase contract is prepared and executed between the parties.
Upon execution of the purchase contract, the following payments become immediately due and payable:
– A fixed deposit corresponding to fifteen percent (15%) of the vehicle purchase price
– A sourcing and inspection fee as agreed
Upon receipt of the above payments, the executed purchase contract, payment confirmation and a process timeline are issued.

2. On-site vehicle verification in China
The vehicle is physically inspected and verified on site at the supplier’s premises in China.
The verification includes:
– Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) confirmation
– Production date verification
– Visual condition assessment
– Specification and configuration confirmation
Photo and video documentation is collected.
Where applicable, a live vehicle verification is conducted.
During the live verification, vehicle identity, VIN and specifications are confirmed in real time, and any outstanding questions are addressed.
Following successful verification, written or recorded “OK TO SHIP” approval is issued.

3. Second payment (35%)
A second payment corresponding to thirty-five percent (35%) of the vehicle purchase price becomes due and payable upon completion of the following conditions:
– Successful completion of on-site vehicle verification
– Delivery of photo and video documentation
– Issuance of “OK TO SHIP” approval

4. Export preparation and delivery to port
Following receipt of the second payment, export preparation is initiated and the vehicle is delivered to the designated export port.
This stage includes, but is not limited to:
– Export approval procedures
– Issuance of commercial invoice
– Issuance of packing list
– Shipping booking
– Allocation of container or vessel space
Formal confirmation of port delivery is provided.

5. Port handling, logistics and insurance arrangement
Once the vehicle is physically confirmed at the export port, variable third-party logistics services are arranged.
The following costs are not included in the vehicle purchase price and are charged separately at cost:
– China port handling and export-related fees
– Ocean freight (RORO or containerised transport)
– Cargo insurance (available upon request)
Cargo insurance is not included by default and is only arranged upon written request.
The importing party may alternatively rely on its own insurance coverage.
Roch Agency does not apply hidden margins to logistics or insurance costs.

6. Final payment and shipment (50%)
The final payment corresponding to fifty percent (50%) of the vehicle purchase price becomes due and payable only upon confirmation that all of the following conditions have been met:
– The vehicle is physically present at the export port
– Export documentation has been fully completed
– Shipping arrangements have been confirmed
– The Bill of Lading is ready for issuance
No final payment shall be released without full documentary confirmation.
7. Shipment dispatch and document release
Following receipt of the final payment, the shipment is dispatched.
The complete export document package is released, including:
– Bill of Lading
– Commercial invoice
– Packing list
– Export documentation
– VIN confirmation

8. Shipment monitoring and delivery oversight
Shipment progress is monitored throughout transit.
Roch Agency provides shipment oversight from port departure through arrival in the European Union, including coordination and status updates.
Such monitoring does not constitute carrier responsibility or assumption of transport risk.
