Tourist Licence Spain: regional registration
Holiday Rental Licence Spain: we assist with Tourist Rental Registration in Andalusia and Valencia Tourist Licence requirements. We review the relevant regional and municipal rules and help organise the documents for the agreed process. Ordinary permanent residential letting is distinct from tourist accommodation; temporary or seasonal letting must be assessed by its actual purpose and applicable rules.
Important Update: Spanish Holiday Rental Registration – 2026
In May 2026, Spain’s Supreme Court annulled key provisions of Royal Decree 1312/2024 concerning the national Single Rental Registry procedure and its registration number requirements.
This ruling does not abolish regional tourist rental registrations, municipal restrictions or applicable advertising requirements.
In Andalusia and the Valencian Community, tourist rental properties must continue to comply with regional tourism regulations, including displaying the applicable regional tourism registration number in advertising.
Roch Agency helps property owners understand the current requirements, prepare documentation and coordinate the appropriate registration procedures.
Requirements depend on the property’s location, permitted use and applicable legislation. The Spain NRA/NRUA 2026 update concerns the annulled national procedure; regional rules still apply. Reviewed 19 October 2026.
